Welcome to the Village of West Mansfield, Ohio

The village of West Mansfield was laid out in 1848 by Levi Southard, who owned a farm on the site. He began selling lots right away and named the village in honor of his son, Mansfield.
As of the census of 2020, there were 749 people, 271 households, and 190 families residing in the village. State Route 47 is a primary street in West Mansfield, traversing the village’s downtown from east to west. A rail line owned by CSX also runs North and South through the village. In 2014 All American Energy a member owned co-op, installed natural gas lines through out the village.
The village has sewer and water lines, storm sewer lines and natural gas lines. Call 48 hrs before you start any project big or small, even mail boxes. Call 811 its free, prevents damage and it’s the law.
